Over the past eighteen years, Elizabeth Stabinski, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Florida Family Court Mediator and collaborative law professional has been helping individuals, couples, and families transition past their feelings of hurt, anger, disappointment, and fear to improve the quality of their lives.

Elizabeth founded and directs the Center for Marital and Family Transition to fill the void for those who are struggling in difficult marriages or transitioning from marriage to divorce. She helps her clients make positive changes and proactive choices in their lives. Her warm, collaborative approach helps clients utilize untapped personal strengths to facilitate growth and healing.

Elizabeth earned a BA in English from the University of Michigan and a MS in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Guidance Counseling from Barry University. Prior to establishing a private practice, she worked in the Broward County school system as a guidance counselor and as a family therapist in therapeutic foster care settings.

Since 2005, Elizabeth has focused her practice on developing services for couples at risk of separating and families in the process of divorce. She has taken numerous trainings in collaborative family law, mediation, and high-conflict parent coordination.
